What is Victory East Lansing Student Housing?
Victory East Lansing is a collection of student housing communities near the campus of Michigan State University. Victory consists of three communities: Victory on Abbot, Victory on Burcham, and Victory Studios.

How far away is Victory East Lansing from campus?
Victory East Lansing is located ¼ mile from Grand River Avenue/Michigan State’s campus.

What does rent by bed mean and can I have my own bedroom?
Victory East Lansing rents by individual bed space which means each resident is only responsible for their own monthly rental installment. Each resident has their own bedroom and shares common area living space with their roommates.

What size are the beds?
All beds are full sized.

Do you find roommates for me?
Residents are welcome to bring their own roommates to live with for the year. If you do not have roommates in mind, we can assist in finding roommates for you using our Roommate Matching System. We will do our best to find a good match and will coordinate communication between all parties.

What if my roommate and I don’t get along?
We do our best to match roommates based on the information provided on your matching profile sheet. We encourage residents to be honest and detailed when filling this out to foster the highest chance of success. We expect to be 100% occupied each year; thus, leaving little room for transferring units. We encourage all residents to communicate, be respectful and work towards a common ground. Should you need additional assistance, our professional management team is happy to help mediate and is trained on how to do so.

What is the Amenity Fee?
To assist with a smooth living experience we have established a fee that, among other things, allows DirecTV, Wi-FI and all other utilities to be charged to the landlord releasing residents from the hassle and responsibility.

What furnishings are included?
Living room: one sofa, one coffee table, one accent chair, one side table, one entertainment stand, one flatscreen TV with soundbar
Dining room: dining room table and chairs
Bedrooms: full size bed and bed frame, dresser(s),nightstand(s), desk(s) and desk chair(s)

What other furnishings should I bring?
Shower curtains and liners, floor lamps and desk lamps for bedrooms, trash cans and anything else you’d like to bring!

Is the kitchen stocked?
No. You will need to provide your own food and cooking/dining supplies

Is there laundry?
Depending on the community you choose, laundry is either located within your apartment or in a community space in your building.

How can I pay my rent?
Online portal payments provide a quick, automatic and easy way to pay your rent and fees monthly. If you prefer to pay by check, money order or cashiers check, there is a drop box, located outside of Victory at Burcham Woods for easy drop.

How long is the lease?
All leases are 12 installments without exception. Reletting is available, see office for details.

Do I need to move out at the end of the school year?
Opportunity for early renewal will be provided during the fall. If you’d like to renew for the following year, you may do so at that time. You may choose to leave for the summer months, but the resident is responsible for a 12-installment lease.

What if I don’t have a Guarantor?
No Guarantor? No Problem, Victory East Lansing offers Leap as an option! Leap is a quick and easy process that fills in for a guarantor or parent co-signer. Leap’s application is free online and takes around 5 minutes to complete. You will get a conditional decision within 30 minutes during normal business hours.
